Welcome to the MOMS Club of Ashburn!
MOMS Club® (Moms Offering Moms Support) is an international support group for stay-at-home moms and their children. Our Ashburn Virginia chapter is made up of members within the 20147 area code. You need a group that understands your special needs as an at-home Mom and MOMS Club certainly does. We are the first, largest, and fastest growing support group specifically for ALL at-home Moms!
MOMS Club® is a wonderful way to meet other at-home mothers in your area who share your interests and concerns. We offer monthly meetings, family activities, weekly playgroups, Mom's Night Out, park days, field trips, a monthly newsletter/calendar, and service projects that benefit the community.
Here are some of the things that make us special:
-
We meet during the day, when at-home mothers most need support!
-
We believe being a mother shouldn't isolate you, so mothers may bring their children with them! For meetings and at activities having children present is considered a natural part of life!
-
At-home mothers of any age children are welcome! You don't have to leave the group when your children enter school! We know you still need support as your children grow!
-
We offer playgroups so the kids can have fun and the mommies can socialize. Some groups are by children's ages, and some groups are for all ages. Playgroups may be held in members' homes or at scheduled activities.
-
We hold monthly meetings to plan upcoming activities and discuss happenings within the club. We schedule speakers and discussions pertinent to raising children, alternating each month between a craft and a guest speaker.
MOMS Club® is a non-profit organization that was started in the Fall of 1983 by founder Mary B. James. The first local chapter was in Simi Valley, California. Word spread about the wonderful support that the MOMS Club® offers at-home mothers and became a national organization in 1985. We now have over 2,100 chapters internationally and over 100,000 members!
